Words not often used

We’re a reading family.

When the kiddos were small, we read daily with them.
We used to find many words that were not very common or familiar to us. Usually, I just grabbed the dictionary and added it to my personal register of words. Nowadays, I add it to my Commonplace Book until I have a bunch to look up.
I thought I’d build my record of words week by week here.
